It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alex W. Schneider of Callaway, Nebraska, who passed away on November 26, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Schneider, Jr. and Katherine Schneider (Harmony); his brother Jerry; and his son-in-law Denton Holz. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his children, Alex James Schneider (Jackie) of Lincoln, Sheri Chittenden (Jack) of Paxton and Connie Holz of Ogallala; his brothers, Milan Schneider (Sandy) of Gibbon and Tim Schneider of Epping, NH; and his grandchildren, Jon Chittenden (Kelsey) of Yutan, Leanne Orlowski (Jeremy) of Lincoln, Jessica Deaver (Matt) of Grant and Alex Schneider (Addison) of Lincoln. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Callaway Hospital District Foundation or to American Legion Bryson-Booker Post 59 at Callaway.
