He was predeceased by: his parents, Alarion Schweitzer and Marie Schweitzer; his sister Glenda Rediger; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Saltzman and Gene Rediger.
He is survived by: his son Rod (Lisa); his grandchildren, Ryan of Cairo and Elizabeth Schweitzer of Cairo; his siblings, Leona Saltzman of Seward, NE and Marlin Schweitzer (Sharon) of Cairo; his in-laws, Wilford and Lelia Luhn; and his brother-in-law Sherman Luhn. He is also survived by uncle and two aunts, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
