It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James C. Nelson of Cairo, Nebraska, who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nelson and Mildred Nelson (Christensen); his wife Marilyn Ann Wheeler; and his son-in-law Ken Gallagher. He is survived by: his children, Michael (Victoria Nelson), Linda (Jerry Woitaszewski), Laurie (Dan Harders) and Patty (Paul Pedroza); his sister-in-law Veda Bruner; and his cousin Mary Miller. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dannebrog/Boelus Rescue-Fire Department, Cairo QRT, or the Heartland Lutheran High School Tuition Assistance Program.
