He was predeceased by: his father Darrell DuWayne. He is survived by: his mother Hazel "Dee" Smith (Shrimplin) of Neshkoro, WI; his daughter Lindsay Smith of Lincoln; his grandson Gracyn Bahr of Lincoln; his sister Diana; his brother-in-law TJ Bettencourt of Crystal Lake, IL; his niece Tona Bock; and his nephew Dalyn Buettner.
