He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Fritz and Hazel B. Fritz; his son Alan; his mother-in-law Frances Goethals; his sister-in-law Marilee Goethals; and his niece Marissa Goethals.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Goethals; his children, Monty Bailey of Omaha, Anna Polacek (Robert) of Butte, Chasity Tipton of Omaha and Tara Bailey of Omaha; his grandchildren, Ryan Bailey (Amanda) of Omaha, Ashley Whaley of O'Neill, Brianna Carlisle of Omaha, Askia McChristian of Omaha, Jodi Polacek of Butte and Victor Polacek of Butte; and his siblings, Sharyn Horvath (Sandor) of Parker, Marlene Parsons (John) of Fairfax and Gail Spencer (Steve) of Bristow. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters.
