With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Schmitz of Butte, Nebraska, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett and Hazel; her husband Edward; her brothers, LeRoy and Harlan; her brother-in-law Darrell Finwall; and her sons-in-law, Gary, Marvin, Tim and Jerry.

She is survived by: her children, Harlan, Marian, LeRoy and DeAnna; her sisters, DeAnna Schrader (Darrell) and Marian Finwall; and also Helen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
