He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn; his children, Belinda VanHouten (Kenny) of Butte, Brenda Schmitz of O'Neill, Darren Van Houten (Retta) of Kingman, AZ and Steven Van Houten (Gretchen) of Broken Bow, NE; his grandchildren, Peter McNichols (Mary) of Ponca, NE, Nick Seevers (Corey) of Lincoln, NE, Tristian Van Houten, Philip Schmitz, Morgan VanHouten, Lindy Dobresenciuc (Dorin) of Fremont, Amy McNichols of Butte, MT, Mallory Schmitz (Kamin) and Melanie Schmitz of Lincoln, NE; his great grandchildren, Lily, Emily, Arlene, Aria and Jacob; and his brothers, Jerry Van Houten (Barb), Marvin Van Houten (Julie) and Dwain Van Houten (Anna).
