He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, K. E., Betty Barritt, Don, Vita Marie Bernt, Marvin, Irene Hansen, John Vere and Betty Kaplan.
He is survived by: his parents, Kylie Bernt (Hansen) and James "Jim" Bernt; his uncle Brad; his sister Elizabeth; his grandparents, Duane Hansen (Sue Lechtenberg) of Butte, NE, Scott of Butte, NE and Donna Bernt of Butte, NE; his aunts and uncles, Gary Hansen (Nia Barakat) of Lincoln, NE, Kaci (Jeff Larsen), Katie Hansen of Butte, NE and Julie (James Williams); and his cousins, Kole, Jase and Knox Larsen. He is also survived by Great Aunts, Uncles, family, and friends.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
