We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2021, at the age of 94, Gerald Wibbels of Burwell, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Elmer Wibbels and Eva Blanche Wibbels (White); his wife Orma Rae Lutz (Arcadia); his son John Edwin; his daughter-in-law Jody Wibbels; and his sister Elinor Moody.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Wilson (Steve) of Clarkdale, Arizona, Jenifer Barr (Chuck) of Clinton, Iowa, Sharon Tunink (Dave) of Montgomery, Texas, Lee Wibbels (Jeannine) of Canby, Oregon, Mike Wibbels (Jodi) of Englewood, Colorado, Joe Wibbels of Central City, Nebraska and Sara Heil (Rob) of Hill City; his sisters, Ruth Apperson of Blair, Nebraska and Janet Hansen (Dean) of Edgar; and his granddaughter Jen Busch (Dave). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
