He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Masat and Ann Masat (Moser); his wife Aubyn Jean Lichty; his children, Mary, Christine Peterson and Scott; his grandsons, Shane Bright and Richard Hanneman; his son-in-law Roger Hanneman; his brother Gordie Masat; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Lichty, Yvonne Howard, Joan Masat and Carolyn Masat.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy Hanneman of Norfolk, NE, Lisa Simmons (Greg) of Lincoln, NE and Sandra Sutton (Tim) of Wayne, NE; his son-in-law Bob Peterson of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Margie Lichty of Neligh, NE, Ken Masat (Margo) of Texas, Jim Masat of Grand Island, NE and Dick Masat (Judy); and his in-laws, Boyd Howard of Texas and Carole Crabtree (Darrell) of Brunswick, NE.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
