He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd James and Augusta "Minnie" Marie Farmer (Meyer); his wife Patricia; his son James; his son-in-law Richard Brewster; and his brothers, Larry and Gary Farmer.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Farmer of Letcher, SD, Jennifer Hovarter (Scott) of Denver, CO, Connie Barrett (Tim) of North Platte and Laurie Cooper (Scott) of Bradford, IA; and his daughter-in-law Anna Scollard of Apple Valley, CA.. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Ty's memory for later designation.
