He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Jeanette Griffith Lauer; and his son Scott Wesley. He is survived by: his former wife Donna Henson (Reichenberg); his daughter Jessica Lynn Lauer; his wife Karen Lauer of Brule; his daughter Jessie Lauer of Brule; his grandson Jaxson Scott Lauer; and his siblings, Dan Lauer (Teresa) of Norton, KS, Sherri Stewart (Garon) of Ogallala, NE, Terri Commins (Brian) of Ogallala, NE and Angie Mueting (Steve) of Aurora, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established in Steve's memory for later designation.
