She is survived by: her children, Terry Eastwood of Greeley, CO and Traci Knapp (Kevin) of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandson Enzo Knapp; and her sister Carol A. Talcott (Milton) of Lincoln, NE..

A memorial has been established in Shirley's memory to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Brule.
