It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Edward Sheldon of Brule, Nebraska, born in Belfast, Maine, who passed away on April 5, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy E. "Roy" Sheldon and Martha A. R. "Becky" Sheldon (Kinney) of Morrill; and his pets, Peppy and Darcey. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his siblings, Sonja Irene Voss (Victor) of Maple Lake, Candis Elizabeth Scribner (Pat) of Morrill, Steven Harris Sheldon (Tisha) of Wrightsville, PA and Timothy Merle Sheldon (Kim) of Brunswick; his foster sister Sara Lillian Diekema (Bob) of Deerfield Beach, FL.; his children, Emily (David), Hahn, Austen, Benjamin, Anna-Sophia, Elenia, Cooper and Susan Rebecca Sheldon; his grandchildren, Vincente, Timothy and Millie; his daughter Joanna Beth Williams (Kwame); his grandchildren, Kaya and Ari; his great grandchild Elias; his grandson Jonathan Kinney Sheldon (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Brooke, Jeremy, Bethany, Gideon, Joseph, Douglas, Matthew Gus Antonopulos (Solara) and Kristi Rhea Sash (Jason); and also, Abigail, Katie, Natalie, Stephen and Niko. He is also survived by three stepchildren.

A memorial has been established to St. John's Lutheran Church.
