He is survived by: his children, Eric Sheldon of Denver and Angela Sheldon of Omaha; and his siblings, Roberta Pringle of Pueblo, CO and Lance Sheldon (Sue) of Belgrade, MT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial has been established in Don's memory for later designation.
