With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arlo D. Olson of Brule, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Arlo's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Arlo's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as his find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Orville Corwin and Viola Olson (Armbruster); his wife Jean Olson; and his sister Margaret Ladd. He is survived by: his children, Carwin Olson (Marge) of Alliance, Jim Olson (Kandace) of Ashby, Mona Terry of Sutherland and Teresa Skrdlant (Russ) of Hastings; and his sister Betty Nelson (Gary) of Gordon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prairie Hills Funeral Home (602 N Spruce St, Ogallala, NE 69153). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (417 E 3rd St, Ogallala, NE 69153).
A memorial has been established in Arlo's memory for later designation.
