Mary Duryea Obituary
The memory of Mary Duryea of Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 95, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Huffman and Maude Huffman; her husband Rex Duryea; her daughter Kitty Duryea Holloway; and her siblings, Edmund Huffman (Vesta), Bill Huffman (Odetta), Gerald Huffman and Mabel Rodocker (Keith).
She is survived by: her sons, Marion "Bud" Duryea (Cathy) of Alamogordo and Kelly (Jodeen) of Billings; her sister-in-law Fern Huffman; and her grandchildren, Jon (Randy), Guy, Kim (David), Desire', Rick, Tiffanie (Jody), Jason (Meghan) and Brandon (Nicole). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Govier Brothers Chapel (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Brookestone View in memory of Mary Duryea.
