He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gordon Payne, Melva Payne, Lois Armstrong and Mardelle Brown. He is survived by: his wife Carole of Broken Bow; his children, Steve Payne (Holly) of Broken Bow and Julie Wright (Greg) of Broken Bow; his great grandchild Elijah Entz; his brother-in-law Donald Archer (Carol) of Kearney; and also, Ashlee Payne of Lincoln, Nikkee Payne of Boulder, Kassandra Wright of Omaha and Tessa Entz (Levi) of Seward. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
