He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Olson and Lena Olson (Palmer); his sisters, Donna and Carol; and his brother-in-law Vernon Carlson.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Carlson; his children, Duane Olson (Sherrie), Kent Olson (Nora) of Broken Bow, Barbara Olson (Brian) of Pleasanton, NE and Karen Owen (William) of Divide, CO.; his grandchildren, Michael Olson (Brianna) of Grand Island, Melissa Farris (Rob) of Louisville, Mitchell Olson of Kearney, Zackary Olson (Samantha) of Ansley, James Olson of Lance Creek, WY, Vanessa Sneed (Nathan) of Loleta, CA, Josie, Elizabeth, Rachel, Cassandra, Joshua, Danielle Olson of Broken Bow, Amanda Fletcher (Corey) of Colorado Springs, Johnathon Owen of Denver, CO and Hannah Owen of Houston, TX; his sister Cecel Carlson of Scottsbluff; and his sister-in-law Edwina Carlson of Kimball. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
