Eugene I. Holeman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene I. Holeman (Broken Bow, Nebraska), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Holeman and Donnell Holeman; and his siblings, Harold Holeman, Sharon John and Dick Holeman.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Sonnenfeld; his children, Frances Peterson of Lexington, Liz Burns (Trenton) of Hazard, Michael Holeman of Omaha, Deb Moody (Jeff) of Burwell, Pat Holeman (Laurie) of Westerville, Ivan Holeman (Eduardo) of Portland, OR and Marti Raad (Russell) of Hazen, ND; his grandchildren, David Peterson (Jessica), Jenn Marquez (Brandon), Michelle Hartman, Judson Burns (Kalee), Donnie Griess, Rachel Griess, Jessica Pedersen (Brandon), Josh Moody (Kersha), Tonya Gehle (Brandon), Kyle Moody (Amanda), Gabriele Sayaloune (Vonsinh), Jeffrey Moody, Melissa McTygue (Matt), Teresa Mickle (Jud), Kayla Cranston, Megan Weiss (Hunter), Taylor Holeman, Harley Vocke, Brinley Vocke and Skyler Raad; and his brothers, Rueben Holeman of Arcadia, Donny Holeman (Lois Holeman) of Arcadia and Robert John (Peggy Holeman) of Nelson. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A prayer will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Ansley Fire & Rescue or 4-H Activities.
