It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Marie Struempler of Broken Bow, Nebraska, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Knispel and Clara Knispel (Knoop); her husband Herb; her siblings, Alfred and Arlene; and her son-in-law Lloyd Eggleston.
She is survived by: her children, Maynard Struempler (Judy) of Oconto, Sandra Eggleston of Broken Bow and Diane Kettelhake (Harold) of Elk Creek; her brother LaVerne "Bud" Knispel; her grandchildren, Cody Eggleston (Tonia), Justin Eggleston (Karisa), Marty Eggleston (Lisa), Marla Stallbaumer (Curtis), Rachel Kleensang (Travis) and Layne Kettelhake (Rebecca); her great grandchildren, Shelby McArthur (Bradley), Bryce Eggleston (Shealyn), Seth Eggleston, Isaac Stallbaumer (Gracie), Owen, Abby, Emma Stallbaumer, Allison Eivins (Noah), Lauren, Connor Kleensang, Korbynn and Kacynn Kettelhake; her great great grandchildren, Ross and Kell McArthur; and her siblings-in-law, Elsie Cyriacks, Bonnie Struempler, Adele Chandler and Ronald Struempler. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Christ Lutheran Cemetery or First Lutheran Church at Buffalo.
