She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Joseph and Edythe Myrtle Lindholm (Atkins); her grandparents, Walter, Sophia, Valley, Tillman (Tim), Bertha Atkins and Arnold; her spouse Orvel Gast; her aunts and uncles, Esther Miller, Alec, Myrtle, Walter Anderson, Susie Halstead, Jakie Babcock and Al Atkins; her brother Douglas Lindholm; her children, Cynthia R Powell (Cindy) of Lexington and Dr. Kim G. Gast of St Cloud, Minnesota; her sister Janice Life (Don) of York, Nebraska; her close friend Mackenzie Ferguson Kulp; and also George Lindholm of Elmwood. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the First Baptist Church or The Finch Library of Arnold.
