He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Evans and Margaret Evans (Nunn); his grandparents, George, Ruth Nunn, Ray and Verva Evans; his in-laws, Leland and Arva Duryea; and his brother-in-law Lloyd Duryea.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Duryea; his sons, Jason Evans (Gina) of Ansley, Ryan Evans (Rachel) of Elm Creek and Kevin Evans (Sheila) of Berwyn; his grandchildren, Kinsey, Kacee Evans of Broken Bow, Kaylee, Natalie Evans of Elm Creek, Nicole Stoddard (Mykael) of Kearney and Brandon Evans of Broken Bow; his great grandchild Haven Stoddard of Kearney; his sisters-in-law, Kay Kennedy (Bruce) of Merna and Connie Mahnker (Keith) of Grant; his uncle Ted (Nancy) of Rosebury, OR; and his aunt Rose Alfonso of New York.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Govier Brothers Chapel (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).
