She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Andrew and Cora Anne Schmidt (Greenland); her husband Richard Franzen; her children, Penny, Frank and Peggy; her granddaughter Lori Trew; and her siblings, Orma and Derril.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Franzen (Dian) of Broken Bow and Patty Harpham (Marc) of McCook; and her brother Al Schmidt. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
