It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorene Mae Rice (Broadwater, Nebraska), born in Dalton, Nebraska, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Chorn and Esther Chorn (Ravert); her husband Don Rice; and her sisters, Shirley Watson and Lorene Stopher.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk (Carolyne Rice), Kim (Jim Smith), Kyle (Shelly Rice) and Karen (Kenny Davis); and also Shirley. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Dorene's honor be made in care of either the church or to the cemetery.
