It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen F Blomenkamp of Broadwater, Nebraska, born in Keystone, Nebraska, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick "Fritz" Blomenkamp and Wilma Blomenkamp (Shaw); his son Mark; his siblings, Ray and Ilene Blomenkamp; and his sister-in-law Harreette Kurkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Carrol Kurkowski; his son Michael Blomenkamp (Toni); his grandchildren, Tonya Blomenkamp, Trevor Blomenkamp (Rylee) and Trey Blomenkamp (Lexi); his great grandchildren, Bellamy and Thea; his sister Ione Shaw; and his siblings-in-law, Dortha Blomenkamp, Catherine Pierce (Darrell) and Richard Kurkowski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Broadwater Volunteer Fire Department or MCCH Foundation.
