With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rodger Allen Berry of Bridgeport, Nebraska, born in Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on February 6, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Hart and Bernice Berry Hart (Butler); and his brothers, Murray and Dean. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Berry; his children, Sidney Berry of Bridgeport and Kendra Backer (Eric) of Roca, NE; his grandchildren, Micheal Berry (Riannon) of Bridgeport, Stephanie Berry of Minden, Alexander Backer of Roca, NE, Sofia Backer of Roca, NE and Emelyn Backer of Roca, NE; his great grandchild Lincoln Berry of Bridgeport; his siblings, Lynn Berry (Bev) of Alliance, NE and Irene Cooper (Johnny) of Bridgeport; and his sister-in-law Kathie Berry of Washington. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Legacy of the Plains, Bridgeport Rural Fire Department, Morrill County Rodeo or Farm Ranch Association.
