He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Gooder and Irene Gooder (Williams); and his brother Larry Gooder. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walter; his children, Gary (Nancy) of Bridgeport, Lona Thompson (Steve) of Lincoln, Sheri McAllister of Scottsbluff and Julie Hughes (Justin) of Ogallala; his siblings, William Gooder (Norma) of Harlingen, TX and June Magnani (Jim) of Benkelman; and his sister-in-law Irene Gooder of Benkelman. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for a future fishing memorial.
