He was predeceased by: his mother Rae Uzene Lif (Deboodt); his brother-in-law John S. Bilby III; and his grandparents, Art, Ruth Lif, Ray and Clara Deboodt.
He is survived by: his father Leonard Gene Lif of Bridgeport; his former wife Judy Nuss; his daughter Heidi Antoine of Torrington; his grandchildren, Hailey, Lucas, Madison and Logan; and his sister Deanne Bilby of Bridgeport. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
