She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip and Mary Henkel, Sr. (Wise); her husband Herman; her sisters, Irene Mehling, Esther Meter, Mary Ann Frick, Lydia Schmall and Helen Dillman; her brothers-in-law, Harry Schmall, Don Frick and Bennie Mehling; and her nephews, Teddie Mehling and Harry.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Blome of Bridgeport and Edward Blome (Connie) of Gering; and her brothers, Phillip Henkel, Jr. (Linda) of Bayard and Harry Henkel (Phyllis) of Bayard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
