She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle Bateman and Esther Bateman (Graham); her husbands, Hardy Huggler and Don Handley; and her parents-in-law, Chris, Edith Huggler, Ross and Gladys Handley.
She is survived by: her children, Les Handley (Nancy) of Sac City, IA, Deanna Bishop (Dale Gavitt) of Denver, CO and Denise Walker (Kerry) of Bayard, NE; her stepchildren, Sheldon Huggler (Jodi) of Roseville, MI, Chris Huggler (Tammy) of Conway, MO and Kate Zavala of Scottsbluff, NE; her grandchildren, Craig Huggler, Derek Tippit, Jordan Huggler, Austin Huggler (Danielle Rose), Aaron Huggler (Kaitlyn), Whitney Zavala (Armando), Felicity Zavala (Will), Marco Zavala Jr. (Vanessa), Jilyanna Zavala, Alejandra Zavala, Jordan Nelson (Nick), Amanda Drost (Matt), Kody Walker, Jamie Walker (Chris), Justin Bishop and Ryan Bishop (Melinda); and her sister Eileen Hickie (Charlie). She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport (1402 T St, Bridgeport, NE 69336).
