It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Audrey L. (Bewley) Sterkel of Bridgeport, Nebraska, born in Dalton, Nebraska, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bewley and Lucy Bewley (Clark); her husband John Sterkel; her stepdaughter Sandra Streeks; and her sister Marion Lakey.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Johnny Sterkel (Cheryl) of Gering and Kathy Kuhlman (David) of Sun City, AZ; and her sisters, Phyllis Crouse of Bridgeport and Ruth Dilley (Jack) of Sheridan, WY. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
Memorials may be given to the Morrill County Handyman service or the Aging Office of Western Nebraska for the senior meals that are distributed from the Community Center.
