We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Walter L. Rhoades in Brewster, Nebraska, born in Philip, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Rhoades and Sadie Rhoades (Christiansen); his in-laws, Keith and Ethel Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Monte McFate, Richard Fowler, Richard Smith, Charlene Rhoades and Carolyn Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Rhoades (Miller); his children, Delten Rhoades (Tracy), Tracy Bradley (Justin) and Jack Miller; his grandchildren, Blayne Bradley (Kadi), Gussie Gibbens (Jack), Taylor Helm (Keith), Kaylee Obermiller (Bret), JT Bradley (Britni), Brayden Rhoades (Lane Deisley) and Zack Bradley (Madi Fields); his great grandchildren, Wakely, Jayda Bradley, Jolie Gibbens, Breece Helm and Lainey Obermiller; and his siblings, Claude Rhoades, Madeline McFate, Joyce Fowler, Marion Rhoades (Merrial) and Pat Cone (Terry). He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Uncle Bucks Lodge. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brewster Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorials may be directed to the Brewster Community Center, the Brewster American Legion, and UCC Church of Brewster in his memory.
