It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha F. Fortik of Brainard, Nebraska, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph J. Fortik; her parents-in-law, Joseph J. and Mary Fortik; and her siblings, Laddie, Emil Ruzicka and Georgia Pestal.
She is survived by: her son LaVern J. Fortik (Elaine) of Brainard; her grandsons, Jason (Dawn) of Raymond, Tyler of Brainard, Loran (Kristy) of Wahoo and Russell of Brainard; and her great grandchildren, Samantha Porter (Caleb), Danielle, Alyssa, Hudson, Hadley, Lucas and Amber Fortik. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
