With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Horacek (Brainard, Nebraska), born in Schuyler, Nebraska, who passed away on April 1, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. Novak and Emma Novak (Barta); her former husband Sid Sedlacek; and her brother Elmer Novak. She is survived by: her husband Donald Horacek of Brainard; her children, Kelly Luth (Todd) of Little Rock and Rusty Sedlacek (Pam); her grandchildren, Cameron Luth (Whitney), Little Rock, Courtney Holden (John-Mark), Jamie Smith (Nate) of Gretna and Jessika Sedlacek of Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Elliot Luth and Brooks Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family asks that you not send flowers, plants or statues at this time.
