He is survived by: his children, Cynthia (Scott Spilinek) of Weeping Water, Daniel (Lisa) of Plattsmouth and Anthony (Karen) of Seward; his grandchildren, Jeremy Spilinek (Lisa), Megan Schmid (Ryan), Chad Sabatka (Darlene), Nicholas Sabatka (Ashley), Melanie Rauert (Matt), Corey Sabatka (Kaitlyn), Jared Sabatka (Allyson), McKenna Elsener (Patrick), Caitlin Falcone (Steven), Brea Sabatka (Tristan) and Chloe Sabatka; his great grandchildren, Kaileigh, Nathan, Lucy, Trevor, Marylynn, Reese, Roland, Aubrielle, Magdalene, Lawrence, Cecily, Mila, Viggo, Benedict, Amelia, Augustin, Liliana, Adilyn, George, Peter, Virinia, Asher, Leo, Avalynn, Sutton, Dominic, Malachi and Felicity; and his sister Marianne St (Henry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends.
Ernie cared for Florence when she became ill with Alzheimer's.
