She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Ratkovec and Antonia Ratkovec (Pokorny); her husband George Coufal; and her sister Dorothy Hula. She is survived by: her children, Danette Luth (Les) of Seward, Diane Pleskac (Gary) of Dwight, George Coufal Jr. of Bruno and Teresa Pernicek of Brainard; and her brothers, Leroy Ratkovec (Sylvia) of Valparaiso and Marvin Ratkovec (Mary Ann) of David City. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
