With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benedict L. Steager of Brainard, Nebraska, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Steager and Mary Steager (Hanus); his wife Donna Rae Matejcek; and his brother Rich. He is survived by: his sons, Robert (Lisa) of Brainard, David (Michelle) of Lincoln and Aaron of Valparaiso; and his brother Jerry. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
