It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Nelson of Boelus, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on October 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Wheeler and Florence Wheeler (Ogden); her siblings, Glen, Floyd and Reva Berens; her son-in-law Ken Gallagher; and her brother-in-law Dick Bruner.
She is survived by: her grandson Adam; her husband Jim Nelson; her children, Mike Nelson (Vicki) of Boelus, Linda Woitaszewski (Jerry), Laurie Harders (Dan) of Wood River and Patty Pedroza (Paul) of Hastings; and her sister Veda Bruner of Shelton. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Walk of Hope (Huntington's Disease), Comfort Dog Ministries of Christ Lutheran Church in Cairo & Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island, or the Nebraska Chapter of Alzheimer's Association.
