He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lange and Sophie Lange (Knupple); his wife Doris Eitzen; and his siblings, Della Sporhase (Albert), Loretta Sporhase (Elmer), Lorene Bethke (Harold), Maynard Lange (Wilma) and Jeanette.
He is survived by: his nephew Steve Crosier (Shelly); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katlin, Karlee of Beatrice, Linda Dana (Rich) of Carleton, Michael Hatch-Dana, Karen Hissong (Troy) of Hebron, Bill Lange (Sandy) of Douglas, WY, Jan Bothwell (Paul) of Boston, MA, Ellory Lange of Ovid, CO, Charlotte Kissler (Larry) of Reno, NV, Delbert Sporhase (Kat) of Pine Bluffs, WY, David Sporhase (Christie) of Arizona, Esther Sporhase of Colorado and Peggy Crosier (Richard) of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by several other great nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation.
