With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edsel Hoover of Blue Springs, Nebraska, born in Plymouth, Indiana, who passed away on November 15, 2021 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Hoover and Mary Hoover (Burger); his children, Robert Hoover (Mandi) of Blue Springs, Alissa Schuessler (Joe) of Overland Park, KS and Cassandra Zumwalt (John Emory) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Devon, Dylan, Shelby, Iasiah, Abbigal, Haylee Hoover, Audrey, Olivia Schuessler, Gwendolyn Zumwalt (Austin Fralin), Alexis Meyer, Breanna Wahlstrom (Nathan) and Charity Jensen; his siblings, Bob (Leanna), David (Patricia), Jim (Elek), Kevin Hoover (Terri), Carol Johnson and Sheryl Brock (Jeff); and his stepdaughters, Mary and Kendra. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial has been established to the Wounded Warrior Project with the funeral home in charge.
