Wilma Schulz Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Schulz of Blue Hill, Nebraska, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mayfield and Zella "Lucile" Nelson; her former husband Elmer; her brothers, Robert Gorley (Rose) and Richard Gorley (Ann); her sister-in-law Dorothy Meyer (Ervin); and her great grandchild Michael Schulz.

She is survived by: her husband Joseph Ralph Burns; her sons, Howard and Michael Harold; her aunt Dot; her brother Howard Burns (Diane); her sons, Mike Schulz (Rita) and Robert Schulz (Suzi); her grandson Brian Schulz (Lynn); her great grandchildren, Taylor and Trevin; her grandchildren, Evan Schulz and Ashley Schulz Bruckner (Scott); her great grandchildren, Caleb, McKenzie and Oliver; and her grandchildren, Bri Schulz Nelson (Bruce) and Seth Schulz (Antona). She is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

Due to COVID-19, her 99th birthday was celebrated with a soft serenade outside her window.

“Remember Wilma and Elmer from the Soxo reunions I attended with my parents. My dad and Elmer were in WW II together.. I lost my mother 11-30-2020. We too celebrated her birthday at a window. You folks have my deepest sympathy’s ! Pamela Greenawalt PO Box 54 Beloit, OH 44609 . Will miss her, I would still call her occasionally over the years.”
