He is survived by: his wife Myva Scott; his children, Mike Scott (Deb) of Page, NE, Joyce Rice (Rich) of Niobrara, NE and Jerry Scott (Cathy) of St. Helena, NE; and his grandchildren, Taylor Scott (Tonya) of Florida, Tanner Scott (Lauren) of Pennsylvania, Heather Randolph (Bart) of Council Bluffs, IA, Shana Hickey (Leonard) of Hinton, IA, Kassie Hausman (Brandon Mabbitt) of Council Bluffs, IA, Bjaye Scott (Becky) of Yankton, SD, Tom Scott (Kara) of Yankton, SD and Jamie Gatz of Plainview, NE. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (89037 539th Ave, Bloomfield, NE 68718). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
