He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his parents, Henry Gieselman and Clara Gieselman; his sister Shirley Kumm; and his son-in-law David Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Warren (Tammy), Grant (JoAnn), Marlene Welch (Peter) and Rod (Debbie); his siblings, Richard Gieselman (Norma) and Fern Svehla (Bob); and his brother-in-law Lawrence Kumm. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
