He is survived by: his wife Betty Walter; his daughters, JoAnn Sprakel (Roger) of Crofton and Peggy Poppe (Ronnie) of Crofton; his grandchildren, Brittany Hetzel (Scott), Riley Sprakel, Braeden Sprakel, Joseph Sprakel, Robert Poppe, Ryan Poppe and Zakary Poppe; his great grandchildren, Emersyn Hinz and Maverick Hetzel; his stepgreat-granddaughters, Bella and Lola Hetzel of Crofton; his sisters, Darlene Harling of Crofton and Maxine Tanderup (Lowell) of Vermillion, SD; his sister-in-law Janet Hamilton of Hartington; and also, Brittany Hetzel, Robert Poppe, Ryan Poppe, Riley Sprakel, Zakary Poppe, Brady Sprakel and Joey Sprakel. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
