He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kumm and Meta Kumm (Gloe); his wife Norma; his parents-in-law, Rudolph and Myrtle Schlote; his daughter Pamela Olson; his siblings, Glen Kumm (Bernice), Harland Kumm (Lavila), Alice Schnoover (Earl), Elizabeth Herbolsheimer (Ted) and Lester; his sons-in-law, Russell Johnson, Bill Skinner and Bob Dittoe; and his parents-in-law, Dean Schlote, Jeanette Schlote and Larry Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Kelvin (Joleen) of Wausa, Karen Skinner of Palmyra, Connie Dittoe of Lincoln, Patricia Steckly (Larry) of Lincoln and Kevin Kumm of Norfolk; his son-in-law Steve Olson of Plainview; his siblings, Milford Kumm (Hattie) of Osmond, Robert Kumm (LaVern) of Lincoln and Elaine Timmerman (Lloyd) of Osmond; and his parents-in-law, Leland Schlote of Creighton, Donna Tyler of Creighton, Marilyn Schlote of Norfolk and Barbara Schlote of Bloomfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
