He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Jacob and Velda Jacob (Volkers); his siblings, Marvin, Donald, Dale, Dean Jacob and Sharon; his brothers-in-law, Duane Hamm, LaVern Opkis and Lyle Tranmer; his parents-in-law, Virgil and Velda Bayne; and his siblings-in-law, Virgil, Jr., Randall Bayne, Sharon and Sheryl Bayne.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Bayne of Bloomfield; his daughters, Julie Osborne (Robert) of Norfolk, Angela Wamberg (Daniel) of Wausa and Alisa Johnson of Wausa; his grandchildren, Chase Osborne (Shanae), Brooklyn, Kaylee Osborne, Dillon, Dawson, Alexa Wamberg, Brady Johnson (Madison), Caleb and Chloe Johnson; his siblings, Melva Tranmer of Pierce, Larry Jacob (Teri) of Fremont, Gene Jacob of Hooper, Carol Stalling (Steve) of Wausa and Ellen Opkis of Creighton; and his sister-in-law Darla Jacob of Beresford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
