He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pinkelman and Margaret Pinkelman (Backman); his wife Kathy; his brother Keevin Pinkelman; his in-laws, Vernon Schmidt, Marjorie Kathol (Urban), Henrietta Sudbeck (Bud), Leander Schroeder, Joseph Schroeder, Charles Schroeder and Jerry Klug; and his nephews, Ben Pinkelman and Craig Schmidt.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Abbenhaus (Jeff) of Bloomfield, NE, Denise Heese (Joe) of Earling, IA, Chad Pinkelman (Karen) of Stromsburg, NE, Todd Pinkelman (Tiffany) of Norfolk, NE and Troy Pinkelman (Lauren) of Bloomfield, NE; his grandchildren, Kristen Frevert (Derek), Cody Allen (Kenzie), Kasi, Madison Abbenhaus, Jordan, Brett, Taylor Heese, Bailey Pinkelman (Treva), Alex, Preston, Ellasyn Pinkelman, Ty, Tate Pinkelman, Cole, Reed and Drew Pinkelman; his great grandchildren, Stran, Sutton, Stetson Allen and Colby Frevert; his siblings, Sandy Schmidt of Dakota City, Brice Pinkelman (Lorie) of St. Helena and Brian Pinkelman of Wichita, KS; and his in-laws, Lorraine Pinkelman of Coleridge, NE, James Schroeder (Renae) of Yankton, SD, Bernadette Lange (Ed) of Hartington, NE, Alice Klug of St. Helena, NE, Cheryl Schroeder of St. Helena, NE, Dorothy Schmidt (Arlynn) of Elk Point, SD, Daniel Schroeder (Joan) of Crofton, NE, Allen Schroeder (Cindy) of Fordyce, NE and David Schroeder (Sally) of Irene, SD..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church (304 S McNamara St, Bloomfield, NE 68718). A wake will be held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
