He is survived by: his former wife Betty Nelson; his daughter Joan Warren (Brad) of Grimes, Iowa; his granddaughter Hope Elizabeth of Ames, Iowa; his sisters, Carol Hart of Yankton, Debra Jerome of San Francisco and Connie Fiscus of Crofton; his aunts, Phyllis Sonnichsen of Creighton and Gerri Claussen of Fremont, Nebraska; and his close friend Rozann Graves. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
