Fern Schlautman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 97, Fern Schlautman of Bloomfield, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Broders and Nettie Broders (Bourn); her husband Robert Schlautman; her siblings, Ervin, Norman, Donald Broders, Bernice Bevington, Charlotte Block and Florence Doran; her grandson Troy Ehlers; and her great grandchild Dakota Ziegler.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ziegler (Jerry) of Bloomfield, Roger Kolessa (Ruth) of Bloomfield and Barbara Ehlers (Wayne) of Omaha; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kurt Ziegler, Nadine Ziegler Kasuske, Ray, Tom Kolessa, Shawn Ehlers Lesko and Shelly Ehlers Shipley; and her sister Laura Lou Greckel of Bloomfield. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-granddaughters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (202 S 1st St, Bloomfield, NE 68718). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
